If the ps3 continues to sell like this, then sony will have no reason to lower the price. Meaning we wont see a price cut for a long time. And soon sony is going to actually start making a profit off the ps3. things are looking very good for them.

Its like history is repeating itself. Nintendo said that cartrigues was the way to go sony said no disc are. and we all no what happen to nintendo then. they lost ff7 to sony cause square didnt agree dindt agree with nintendo. And as a result to that ps1 starting flying off the shelves blowing away the n64 and sega out of the water.

O but back then they critize and cursed sony out for doing it. So i guess sony is the smarter company. Now only is bluray a selling point for the ps3 but its also gives developer more freedom.

If sony would lower the price beofore a metal gear solid launch then they can seal the deal. But for some reason they havent even mention the possibility. and microsoft realize that they are not penetrating the european market, hence why they are blowing up gta commercial over there and here NA i havent seen not one GtA commercial by microsoft. SO we all know what region they focusing on. But all in all it will be interesting to see what happens.
